Fashion Spotlight: Natalie Jordan

Junior Natalie Jordan favors relaxed looks with a few surprise elements. Still developing her look, she views fashion as a work in progress—one that changes as she does. Much of her inspiration is drawn from people she sees online, friends, and even her brother’s ex-girlfriend, whose effortless style first intrigued her. Social media platforms like TikTok and Pinterest help her discover pieces that feel fresh and exciting. 

Natalie loves thrifting and shopping on Depop. “I just get really impatient shopping at stores, but thrifting, I always find cute stuff for cheap, and it's entertaining ‘cause you never know what you will find,” she said. 

When it comes to favorites, jewelry tops the charts. From intricate rings to statement necklaces, accessories are what pulls Natalie’s outfits together. “I love when my bracelets jingle, and I feel like having cool jewelry can just add a lot to an outfit,” she said. She also swears by her brown Doc Martens and Onitsuka Tigers for adding personality from the bottom up. 

After years of dressing down out of fear of others’ opinions, she now uses her style to reflect on who she’s becoming as a person. “I guess I use the way I dress to explore myself, as well as prove to my old self that I don't need to hide,” she said. For Natalie, fashion is all about self-expression and the confidence and personality behind each garment.
