Violet Burritt online editor

she/her/hers

Hi! My name is Violet Burrit. I took J1 as a sophomore and couldn’t fit Wind-Up in my schedule, but now I’m back as the online editor. Apart from being a part of the Wind-up team this school year, I’m also the senior class president as well as treasurer for the student senate. Some of my favorite pastimes include hanging with my friends, reading, listening to music, and going to concerts. One of my biggest passions is being a Fangirl, so you may see my name next to a lot of pop culture pieces this year! In the future, I’m not 100% sure what I will want to do, but I am thinking somewhere in the field of psychology/pre-law. I’m so excited to see where the Wind-Up takes me this year!

Hi I'm Vittoria Perucchetti. I am currently enrolled in journalism 1. I enjoy journalism and getting to pick a topic to deep dive on. I get a lot of creative freedom. I enjoy running a lot though and the idea of being in the medical field, so I do not plan on making it a life long commitment or study it in college. I think my favorite part of Wind Up is the podcasts. I am a very talkative person and love the idea of debating and debriefing on topics that I'm interested in with my friends!

Vivianne Johnson
journalism student

she/her/hers

Hi everyone! I’m Vivianne Johnson, I am a first year journalism student, as well as a freshman, and I plan to be doing journalism for the rest of my high school career. Writing has always been a huge passion of mine, and an even bigger part of my life. Freely writing has saved me in so many ways and I couldn’t imagine a world without it. Journalism has been a really fun experience, it exposed me to a newer way of writing. It also revealed my passion for photography which I hope to get better at as I work on that skill. Although I still have 3 years left of my high school journey, I already know exactly what I want to do after graduation. It has always been my dream to become a surgeon despite my strong passion for writing, saving lives has always been something on my agenda. But, I’m very excited to see where my journalism journey will take me!

I'm excited to take this class every year until my senior year, and I hope I get to see new faces in the yearbook every time. In my free time, I like to play video games (especially Valorant lately) on my PC which I recently got during the summer. I really enjoy listening to Kpop. My favorite artists are NMIXX, Enhypen, New Jeans, Ateez, and others! Really great artists. I hope one day I can see my favorite artist,  Enhypen concert. Their songs are amazing.
