Boys Rugby teams finish season with big wins

The boys rugby beat West Ottawa and Rockford B on Wednesday, ending their regular season 6-1 (Maize) and 6-1 (Blue). Both the Maize and Blue teams played at home against West Ottawa and Rockford B both getting a win, the scores being 65-0 (Maize) and 38-15 (Blue).  

On Wednesday both teams finished the regular season strong with very physical defense, fast ball movement and strong communication. 

“The best thing was talking to the other team's backline,” Griffin Kissinger 12, said.

Riley Halverson 12 and David Silva 12, ruck over Eli Nugyen, 11 while Josiah von Koenig, 11 counter rucks them.

 Senior Jace Bowen's favorite moment came late in the game after a powerful performance.

"I think I had some strong tackles and my favorite part was scoring my try and kick at the end,” Jace said.
