Fusion Center for Dance Dancers Have their Annual Recital

As the school year nears the end, a few SJHS students have another finale to await. To end their season, Fusion Center for Dance is having its annual end-of-the-year recital on May 24 at The Mendel Center. The event is to be two hours filled with dancing from all ages and all levels for $18.

Aubrielle Floyd, 10 has been dancing at Fusion for 10 years, and this year will mark her 10th recital.

“I enjoy seeing the growth and excitement of all the dancers,” she said. “Anyone attending should expect to see a lot of young and inspired dancers starting their dance journey.”

On the other hand, Kira Rosenbrock, 9 is dancing in her first recital this weekend as she is new to the company this year.

“I am personally so excited for my first ever recital. It is a great way to wrap up the season and it’s going to be so interesting to compare the differences from my old studio to Fusion,” Kira said. “My team has been preparing for the recital since the beginning of this year and everything we do is to reflect how the recital will go. We learned our dances in late February and have constantly rehearsed them to perfection.”

If you want to watch Kira, Aubrielle, and other students from SJHS dance in their recital, get a ticket for $18 and catch the 3:00 pm show at The Mendel Center this Saturday, May 24.

As the ceremony comes to a close, the class of 2025 throws their caps into the air in celebration.
