Fashion Spotlight: Megan Durbin

Megan Durbin, 11, describes her style as “eclectic.” 

“I wouldn't say I have a certain style because I wear and try an assortment of different styles and pieces,” Megan said.

Megan gets a majority of her closet from secondhand or thrift stores. 

“Staple pieces of mine would be jewelry. I specifically find most interest in rings and bracelets I find to pair together. I really like the way a larger assortment of jewelry looks together,” Megan said, when asked about her favorite pieces.

To Megan, clothes are much more than just something to put on your body. 

“Fashion is something I use to express myself and feel more confident. But a bigger part of it is the authenticity and the different kinds of styles there are. I always appreciate others' unique styles and I think fashion should become more internal and should set apart from just trend following,” Megan said.
